Using the “Meta Tags” module, the administrator can easily manage the Group’s Title and all available group Meta Tags.

The module is two tab-separated and contains the follow pages:

  • MetaTags - Meta Tags contain core information about the web page, such as the author, keywords, description, type of the document etc. This information is used for search engine optimization of the site and it’s part of the group’s HTML page. The administrators can add two types of Meta Tags:
    • System Meta Tags – They can be added only in the root group and will be inherited from its subgroups. The group administrator can allow some of the system Meta Tags to be used in the subgroups but with different Meta Tags content, using the “System metatag overriding allowed” checkbox.
    • Group Meta Tags – These Tags contain information about the current group page and it cannot be inherited.

Using the appropriate buttons the administrators can update and delete the System and Group Meta Tags.
