The date of the posts is the key factor for the system to present post lists. It is commonly adopted in the blogging that all the posts are chronologically ordered, placing the newest one first.

This is why you post date is an important element of the post and can help you communicating better.

You have two options for setting the post date - automatically and manually.

The automatically set date is the date of the actual post publishing to the system.

The custom date is related with so called "future posting". All contributors have the ability to freely choose any future date and hour for the post to appear as published. Until this date and hour the post will not be visible for the readers.

To review your "future posts" follow the following steps:

1. Click on "My Drafts" link in the "Resource Center" side module. It will open the section with your drafts and scheduled posts

2. Click "My Scheduled Posts" tab. This will open the future posts list.

To customize the publication date of your post (make a future publishing), follow the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to "Create Post" page

Step 2: Click on "Show Advanced Options" link.

Step 3: Select "Publish Date" tab

Step 4: Click "Publish on Date" check box and choose the date you would like to publish.
